For a specific project, contact Altrax with your site location, equipment requirements and preferred delivery date, and we can confirm availability.
Before delivery, we recommend having the site ready so the equipment can be unloaded and put to work safely.
- Clear access: Ensure the delivery vehicle can safely reach the site.
- Unloading area: Provide a suitable, level area for unloading and assembly.
- Site measurements: Confirm gates, doorways, ramps and other access points are large enough for the equipment.
- Work area: Clear obstacles, debris and unnecessary materials from the setup area.
- Ground conditions: Ensure the operating area is suitable for the equipment being hired.
- Site requirements: Advise Altrax of any restricted access, stairs, overhead obstructions or other site challenges before delivery.
- Safety: Ensure the site is ready for safe equipment operation and that relevant site inductions or access requirements are arranged.

Returns & Refunds
Purchased equipment is generally not treated the same as hired equipment, and returns or cancellations depend on the individual sale and the applicable terms and conditions.
If you have purchased equipment from Altrax and need to return it, contact us as soon as possible so we can review the circumstances and confirm whether a return, exchange or other arrangement is available.
If hired equipment becomes faulty during your hire period, contact Altrax as soon as possible and stop using the equipment if continuing to operate it could cause damage or create a safety risk.
Altrax will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange repairs, troubleshooting or a replacement unit, depending on the nature of the fault and equipment availability.
We aim to minimise downtime and get your project moving again as quickly as possible.
Refunds are processed in accordance with Altrax’s hire or purchase terms and the circumstances of the transaction.
Where a refund is approved, Altrax will generally process it back to the original payment method. Processing times can vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
For a specific refund enquiry, please contact Altrax with your invoice or booking details, and we can confirm the applicable process.
